ponder ponder ponder

outlook: some questions
what does one strive for really? to sort & unravel the deep mysteries of the universe & beyond, or does one exist to better one’s existence?-& of the ones that are near & dear to you.
or better the future?-this moment has already gone past.
or does one strive to prove one’s mettle? to prove a superiority over another? or does one strive to raise the income bracket one is in? does the steel mittal strive to earn more millions or to form some sort of a philosophy to his acquisition turnarounds? is it only the creation of wealth that one lives for? or is it to have more power?
is hatred, revenge at the core of one’s existence? is it just one of the thirsts, wants, needs, the reason to survive?
or is it to be better than the neighbor, better than the classmate, the colleague in office, the cousin who is abroad, the steps to success someone has set & defined?
to each his own answer.
all the essential querries of life are simple, but the answers complex & varied, shrouded in theory, isms, & interrelated with the sciences.
the answers are no longer robert bachish-simple & egalitarian, nor even freudishly justified & precisely defined. all have the grey blurred edges to them.

Totally what i remember thinking as a 13 year old waiting to cross a signal at Shivaji Park...

I think, getting totally theological, that we all really do have the germ of 'God' or a 'Creator' in us. And that is what moves us, each in his/ her own unique direction.

why DO we work? Does LOVe move us? Wanting to impress, make happy or happier the people we love and who are important in our lives? Make comfortable their lives? more comfortable?

Hmmmm... Ponder, Ponder... :)

No, wait, gundia, i got it!!! we strive because the more money we make and/ or the more well-known we are, the more people listen to us attentively (at least for a while!). and THAT is what humans CRAVE. And THAT is the purpose of blog sites... to give ordinary people the platform to be voice their opinions. And then, send the links to friends and family and show how deep and insightful, how funny, how sad, how thoughtful, how selfish, how sincere, how potent their thoughts are...

AHAM.

EGO.

I have God in me.

Or, not.
