Ten Years

Samir Sarkar uploaded some info on his facebook account about us working together on the French film 'Hanuman' a decade back.
In 1996-1997.
& Suddenly, i felt the span of the decade rush past; ten years of hard work, of friends lost & made, of unions & partings, of places seen & not seen, relationships, joys, & humbling hurts.
There are places in my heart that are empty with people that i have lost to Yama, or to their own world views.
Like holes in the heart.
Sanjay Saghvai lost his life due to a hole in his heart a few days ago. Wamanrao Deshpande died of a heart attack although he didn't have a hole in his heart.
If we list the dear ones we lose in a lifetime, it will make a personal directory of wounds. & Pain.
At the end of ten years, there is more remorse, regret, & sorrow.
The remnants.
Emptiness.
