my dear classmate from ftii (batch of 85-86), professor at srftii calcutta has the title as the query. i am sure a lot of my friends when they visit this blog will wonder what i am upto...
in the last 42 years of life i have made very many friends from all walks of life.
i love them deeply & feel that without having known them, without having shared their ideas & work with them, & vice versa, i am a zero.
this place is a project in continuatuum of further sharing on a public forum ideas, mundanities of life, thoughts, confusions, philosophies, culture vulture dialogues & didactics, ad infinitum.
it is a page that i visit often to pour out not only my personal angst, joys, & sorrows, but also to showcase current work, my current interests, scripts, & what have you.
& some recipes too. everything amaresh, that one likes to do, think, create, & hence wish to share.
with tushar bhatia, & several in the field of music, i discuss, drink, & eat music.
with so many mothers of my friends, i discuss & devour recipes.
& such like.
as varied as you & me are, there are things that we treasure-yesterday i bought a passolini & an ozu dvd. made me the happiest man on this earth. saw a bit of it last night-but then aum came & pounced on my paunch & i had to put away the laptop...
